About the role:
The QA department drives the overall quality of all OfferUp products and services. You will work with an existing QA team, deeply embedded with our Product and Engineering teams, to help take quality to the next level.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst/Engineer to help shift the quality left and build a mindset of quality in every team, advocating for and driving quality in design and development not just at the feature testing or integration stage.
This role is only available outside the US and not available to any individual based within the US or any US territory.

- Define, build, and execute integration and regression tests for our features and services
- Champion a high level of quality across our large-scale software applications, systems, platforms, services, and technologies of all OfferUp Products
- Work independently on complex QA tasks requiring planning, scheduling, and testing where a variety of factors may impact results in a fast-moving start-up environment
- Inform, prioritize, and work with our SDETs to improve automated testing
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken (fluency in English required)
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Analyst / QA Engineer
- 3+ years performing functional, integration, regression and performance testing
- Knowledge of QA Methodology and tools
- Experience gathering test requirements and creating detailed test plans
- Experience working directly with engineering teams to provide quality support
- Experience in Mobile app & Web testing.
- ISTQB certifications
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience working with a scripting language (testscript, javascript, python, ruby)
- BS in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience
