Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Developer Relations Associate will play a crucial role interacting with developers and propelling the growth of Eclipse’s ecosystem.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of work experience with developers in a Developer Relations or Project Manager context.
- Does not need to be a coder, but should have enough understanding of basic coding fundamentals to be able to hold conversations with developers
- A decent understanding of and intellectual curiosity in crypto and the industry’s trends
- Strong work ethic with the ability to handle multiple work streams at once
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Personable and enjoys talking to a variety of people from different backgrounds with varying levels of professional experience; in short, a people person with high EQ
- Enjoys travel and is open to several, extended business trips a year (particularly in Asia)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Business Development team to handle an influx of early stage developers, re-route them to each other, and/or offer new ideas based on background/capabilities
- Travel to key business regions to build in person relationships with developers and expand Eclipse’s book of business
- Expand on community/grassroots efforts in different global regions to identify programmatic opportunities for developer teams across the world
- When possible, help developer teams with code that is open source and/or integrations that aren’t overly complex
- Source developer teams to participate in Eclipse-sponsored hackathons
