With over 5 years of product management experience and a background in atmospheric sciences, you bring a unique blend of skills to drive development of consumer-oriented mobile and web products. You excel in data-driven decision-making, thrive in agile environments, and are eager to experiment and take calculated risks.
You will:
- Drive Product Roadmap: Collaborate with Product Managers and Senior Leadership to define, develop, and launch our mobile app across various devices, ensuring alignment with company goals and user needs
- Market and User Understanding: Conduct comprehensive research to deeply understand markets, competition, and user requirements, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data
- Enhance User Engagement: Improve existing features and capabilities, with a focus on User Experience (UX), to boost daily user engagement and app usage duration
- User-Centric Approach: Proactively research user interactions to develop optimal experiences, advocating for user needs at every stage
- Market Trends and Innovation: Stay updated on market trends to identify opportunities for product innovation and continuous improvement
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with engineering, design, marketing, and business development teams to execute the product vision
- Enable Development Team: Provide clear direction, support, and resources to enable the development team to execute initiatives effectively
- Other Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
You have/are:

- Educational and Professional Experience: Possess a 4-year degree with 5+ years in product management, or demonstrate 8+ years of relevant experience
- Technical Background: Expertise in atmospheric sciences, able to engage in detailed discussions with engineers and meteorologists about complex weather systems.
- Agile Experience: Experienced in working within an agile development environment.
- Product Launch Focus: Experienced in launching consumer-oriented features or products
- Data-Driven Decision Maker: Proficient in analyzing data to drive product decisions
- Analytical Skills: Skilled in deriving insights from data and using metrics for decision-making
- Self-Starter Mentality: Proactive problem solver who follows up on commitments and collaborates effectively in a team
- Experimental and Risk-Tolerant: Willing to experiment, take calculated risks, and adapt quickly
- A team player who collaborates and shares with fellow product managers
- Detail-oriented–-the little things matter
- Organized with demonstrated ability to prioritize and deliver timely work
- Self-sufficient and not afraid to take the lead and manage tasks independently
