What we’re looking for
SurveyMonkey Enterprise is a powerful survey platform that enables teams and organizations to enhance their existing business ecosystem with People Powered Data. As a result they are able to make smarter, and more data-driven decisions.
The Multi-User Admin team develops the enterprise-grade administration used by the largest enterprise customers at SurveyMonkey. On this team, we develop advanced user and team management features such as asset library management, role based access control, survey branding, and user reporting.
We are looking for a talented and experienced full stack engineer who has a passion for solving challenging technical problems. We work closely with our product owners, designers and our customers, iterating quickly to ensure we build the best solution for our users.
What you’ll be working on
- Planning, designing, and building front-end experiences
- Building and maintaining our enterprise services across multiple data-regions
- Top-to-bottom ownership of new features, including crafting technical specs, writing readable and extensible code, and keeping tabs on post-release metrics
- Working closely with product managers and UX designers, iterating quickly to ensure we build the best solutions with quality in mind
- Collaborating with other engineers to validate best practices and logical designs
- Building observable systems that track important metrics and automatically notifies when something is off
- Focusing on code quality and optimizing for performance, accessibility and reliability
- Fostering the spirit of continuous improvement and learning amongst fellow engineers
We’d love to hear from people with
- 5+ years in web application development with full stack development experience
- Expertise in designing and building world-class services and APIs
- Experience with REST/GraphQL and coding around various external service APIs
- Experience with Python and python frameworks like FastAPI, Flask or pyramid
- Experience with React and Javascript.
- Strong interest in doing code reviews, writing tech specs, collaborating within and across teams, and troubleshooting issues
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both co-located and remote engineers and cross-functional partners
