LastPass is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in PHP:
As a Senior PHP Engineer, you would work with an Agile development team to form a product that serves over 5 million active users. You would completely own and continually improve critical features to secure our customers' digital life and work.

Who will you work with?
You'll join our dynamic agile team focused on the development and maintenance of integration related topics. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers, shaping our product's future by strategizing software verification. Empower the scrum team to craft top-notch software. Additionally, partner with the support team, swiftly assessing and resolving customer issues, ensuring speedy, high-quality solutions.
What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?
- Participate in requirement analysis, high-level planning, and estimation. Collaborate closely with product owners and user experience designers to deliver outstanding features on time.
- Advocate for proper analysis and resolution of non-functional requirements, such as highly availability, fault tolerant, scalable, etc.
- Partner with Product Management to balance costs and benefits effectively. Prevent unnecessary enhancements while avoiding technical debt.
- Develop, test and maintain the solutions within your team’s domain
- Create and maintain internal technical documentation
- Participate in code reviews
- Participate in community driven decision making. Maintain our coding- and design guidelines, and influence the technical roadmap.
- Work in compliance with our processes
- Coach and mentor medior engineers.
What does it take to work at LastPass?
- Experience developing web applications in PHP
- Experience in web infrastructure, HTTP, REST
- Familiarity with OOP best practices, SOLID, and Clean Code
- Experience with design patterns in PHP
- Solutions for ensuring security in PHP (against XSS, SQL Injection, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Docker and web security
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
- Creates and follows best practices
- Efficiently participates in the completion of complex tasks
- Consistently sees the overall big picture, while also focusing on details and specific tasks
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Ability to transfer knowledge effectively
It’s great, but not required:
- Previous experience with Commerce Systems and 3rd party payment providers
- Any experience with C# and .NET Core
- Solutions for ensuring security in PHP (against XSS, SQL Injection, etc.)
