We’re an early-stage startup on a mission to empower small business owners through AI-driven solutions and practical business tools. We’re building our MVP—a dynamic web application with additional integrated components—and need someone who can help shape both our product and infrastructure from the ground up. As an early team member, you'll be involved in a wide range of tasks, especially at the beginning, and will have a significant impact on our direction and success. What You’ll Do

• Backend Development
  
  

  • Develop robust server-side logic, primarily in Python (Django)

  • Handle database design and management (PostgreSQL/SQL)

  • Create and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication

• Infrastructure & Scaling
  
  

  • Manage AWS deployments (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.)

  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation)

  • Plan for cost-effective, secure, and scalable solutions
    
    

• Containerization & DevOps
  
  

  • Package and deploy services using Docker (Kubernetes a plus)

  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

  • Configure monitoring and alerting (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
    
    

• Front-End Collaboration
  
  

  • Work with React-based front-end components

  • Ensure smooth API consumption and integration with the UI
    
    

• Problem-Solving & Debugging
  
  

  • Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize systems

  • Tackle technical challenges with scalable, maintainable solutions
    
    

• Collaboration
  
  

  • Work closely with the founders and the rest of the team 

  • Use version control (Git) and AI productivity tools

  • Contribute to an Agile, fast-paced development environment

Salary & Compensation

$10,000 – $50,000/year (Depending on experience and scope of responsibilities)
