At Smartcar, we provide developer-friendly APIs that make it easy for businesses to connect their apps with cars.
From auto insurance to fleet management, businesses of all kinds use our APIs to verify vehicle mileage, issue digital car keys, manage EV charging, and track fleets. Our customers include the peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace Turo, the auto insurance provider Marshmallow, and the electric utility Green Mountain Energy to name a few.
As Smartcar’s first Infrastructure Engineer, you will have the opportunity to lay the foundation for the infrastructure team at Smartcar and work closely with the engineering teams to deliver a secure and reliable product. Smartcar's infrastructure is predominately on AWS and is all managed using Terraform. We follow AWS best practices with respect to multiple accounts, infrastructure as code, least privilege IAM policies, and AWS organizations.
