The opportunity As a member of the Product team, and under the guidance of the QA Manager, you’ll be working with a team of talented PMs, and in direct collaboration with the Back-end and Mobile/Web developers to ensure that we deliver the best experience to our customers. You’ll manage all the test campaigns, analyze the bugs tickets and work within an agile / scrum team to ensure we deliver a bug-free product that complies with technical specifications and business requirements. If you’re resourceful and proactive and you always wanted to take part in the success of a start-up with global ambition, we would love to hear from you. 🎯 Your missions: - Own the Software Testing Life Cycle: ◦ Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. ◦ Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. ◦ Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results. ◦ Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality testing activities. - Support and help create acceptance criteria in collaboration with the Product team, and help the team with troubleshooting techniques. - Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provides solutions (or escalate issues as required). - Collaborates with the L2 support on bug fix verification and validation. - Manage defect tracking and resolution processes so that a consistent, documented process is used and followed. - Create and maintain Test KPIs to measure the quality of the product over time. ⚡What's cool about this job: - Be a part of the team which helps to build trust with customers and beat the competition in the long run by producing a better product. - An opportunity to work in a fast-growing start-up, a flagship of “la French Tech 120 Startup” with incredible traction in Europe & be a part of an international team (over 4 countries). - Work for a startup where your decisions will have an immediate impact. - 360° fair feedback process to help each other grow in the right direction. - A comprehensive onboarding session and a wide range of training options for skills development. - Many career opportunities (internal promotion or horizontal movements). - An exceptional, international and multicultural environment. 🌟 You are the ideal candidate if you have: Experience and hard skills: - Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in a tech company. - Understanding of the Web, iOS, and Android platforms. - Working knowledge of Project management softwares (JIRA, Notion) and test management tools (like Testrail). - Experience in API testing (Postman / Soap UI) and Database testing. - Extensive experience in writing and executing Non-regression test cases. - Understand and eager to demonstrate Test metrics. - Fluent in English. French or another Virtuo language is a plus. Soft skills and personality: - Rigorous, autonomous, and resourceful: easily follow processes in place and challenge them. - Ability to raise blocking issues at the right time. - Attention to detail, and quality of the product. Nice to have (but optional): - Hands-on experience in automation testing. - Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing. 🔍 Recruitment process: 1.
