The Role
We are seeking a Technical Research Analyst with expertise in crypto data analysis and proficiency in Python or SQL to join our team. As a Technical Research Analyst, you will work on our research team to produce high-quality, data-driven research reports focused on the crypto industry. You will conduct thorough research and analysis to bring insights to our subscribers and engage with investors, protocols, and other stakeholders in the crypto industry. You will also use your technical skills to design and implement tools and processes to support our research efforts.

What you'll do
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to provide data-driven insights to our subscribers.
- Use Python and SQL to collect, clean, and analyze large data sets related to the crypto industry.
- Design and implement tools and processes to support our research efforts.
- Collaborate with other members of the research team to author insightful, long-form research reports.
- Engage on social media platforms (e.g., Twitter) and participate in industry events to represent our brand and build your personal brand.
Who you are
- Strong technical skills with expertise in Python or SQL and experience working with crypto data.
- 1+ years of experience working in crypto and with crypto-related data
- Familiarity with crypto metrics and data sources.
- Resourceful, curious, and able to think critically and creatively to deliver high-quality reports.
- Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate and put Messari's mission above personal achievement.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality research reports and excited to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, able to speak about technical topics with non-technical teammates
Salary Ranges for this position (depending upon experience):
$105,000 - $125,000
