We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and architecture of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This role is responsible for developing electrical distribution systems, protection schemes, and equipment integration for modular energy platforms that combine battery systems, inverters, transformers, and monitoring infrastructure.
Requirements
- Design electrical architectures for BESS platforms including AC and DC power distribution systems.
- Develop single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and cable schedules.
- Integrate battery systems, battery management systems (BMS), PCS inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
- Define grounding strategies, protection schemes, and isolation methods for high-power electrical systems.
- Develop monitoring, alarm, and shutdown logic to ensure safe and reliable battery operation.
- Coordinate electrical design with mechanical layouts and enclosure constraints.
- Support commissioning, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and troubleshooting of energy storage systems.
- Produce production-ready electrical documentation supporting manufacturing and system integration.
