About the Opportunity
R77 is exclusively supporting a client in the PR and brand reputation space in the search for a Junior SEO Executive to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career who is looking to build strong foundations in SEO and digital visibility. The successful candidate will support the wider team with day-to-day SEO tasks across a range of projects and brands operating within competitive sectors such as iGaming, Forex, and Nutra.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, highly organised, detail-focused, and genuinely interested in how search engines, content, and website performance work together.
Key Responsibilities
- Support keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth across different websites and markets
- Assist with on-page SEO tasks, including optimising page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and URLs
- Help review website content to ensure it follows SEO best practice and is structured for search visibility
- Monitor rankings, traffic performance, and basic SEO metrics using relevant tools
- Support the team with competitor reviews and market research
- Assist with updating content and website elements in line with SEO recommendations
- Help identify basic technical or content-related SEO issues and flag them to the wider team
- Support off-page SEO and link-building tasks where needed
- Work closely with content, outreach, and technical teams to help deliver SEO improvements
- Stay up to date with SEO trends, search engine updates, and industry best practices
Requirements
- 0–1 year of experience in SEO, digital marketing, content, or a related field
- Basic understanding of SEO principles, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Strong interest in digital marketing and search visibility
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, online tools, and digital platforms
- Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams
- Organised approach to managing tasks and deadlines
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to develop within a performance-driven environment
Nice to Have
- Internship, academic, freelance, or personal project experience related to SEO or digital marketing
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
- Exposure to CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar website systems
- Interest in content writing, digital PR, or online brand visibility
- Exposure to iGaming, Forex, Nutra, or other fast-paced digital industries
