We are seeking a technical, customer-obsessed Product Manager to own the platform operator experience for Union: the end-to-end journey of how customers evaluate, deploy, configure, and operate Union in their Kubernetes and cloud/on-prem environments.
Requirements
- 4–5+ years of technical product management experience on developer tools, infrastructure platforms, or deployment/distribution systems, with proven ownership of a product area through the full lifecycle: discovery → strategy → delivery → adoption.
- Deep ML/AI orchestration domain knowledge: You understand the workflows your customers are building – data preparation, model training, experiment tracking, and inference at scale – and can reason about how platform decisions affect the end-to-end AI development lifecycle.
- Product taste: A track record of shipping opinionated, high-craft, end-to-end experiences that delight technical users.
- Engineering empathy: You build credibility with senior engineers and can drive alignment through clear specs and crisp tradeoffs.
- Data-informed decision making: You use qualitative and quantitative signals to prioritize, measure success, and iterate.
- Influence without authority: You align engineering, design, and customer-facing stakeholders around a shared vision and plan through clear thinking, persuasion, and earned trust – not positional power.
